Hi,
I took the plunge and have recently purchased a Firebrick through
Watchfront - who seemed incredibly efficient on the delivery!)
I be honest i am struggling with the concept and the implementation of
the bonding. Here is my configuration.
I have two adsl lines.
ADSL1 is DHCP, based with no fixed ip's, uses NAT, router1 is 10.0.0.1.
ADSL2 has a block of public ip addresses 83.104.114.120 -
83.104.114.127. Router2 is on 83.104.114.121. The local range we are
currently using is 192.168.31.1 ->
We are hosting servers internally using port forward and a couple of
the public addresses.
I'd planned to use the FB to bond both the connections.
Here's my queries.
1. Should i configure the local address or router2 to be in the same
range as router1 or keep is on a separate sub net? e.g. 192.168.30.1?
2. What's the best configuration of the FB pseudo address for routing?
Any assistance would be appreciated!
regards
RD
